How it Works
Who is it for?
People of all ethnicities that would like to get rid of unwanted dark, pigmented hair including areas such as legs, arms, underarms, back, buttocks and bikini. Treatment needs pigmentation in the hair structure making it not effective on blonde, white, grey, red or auburn hairs. Maintenance is required and will be further discussed during the complimentary consultation.

What type of laser is used?
Alexandrite 755nm offers a more powerful energy absorption by the melanin chromophore, making it ideal for Fitzpatrick types 1 through 3. The YAG 1064nm is a safe and effective treatment option for people with higher melanin production and in the Fitzpatrick types 4 through 6 catagory. The 1064 laser is an advanced long pulse laser that penetrates past the melanin in the skin in order to reach the base of the hair follicles without compromising the skin.
