Carbon dioxide lasers have been used for many years to resurface and tighten the skin. The older generations of these lasers caused significant thermal damage, resulting in heightened patient discomfort and a long recovery time.
How it works
The CO2RE laser is a major advancement in the field of CO2 lasers. It simultaneously works on the surface and beneath your skin. This “fractionated” laser delivers precise microscopic areas of injury to the skin while leaving islands of untreated tissue. The result is less downtime and quicker healing, while still taking advantage of all the tightening and resurfacing benefits of the traditional CO2 treatment.

Downtime: Red scabbed skin for 1 week, then skin will remain pink for 1-2 weeks after
